The articles need to be good quality otherwise the reader will become bored and instead of clicking on one of your affiliate links, they will just go back to their search on another url.

If you do decide to go down the blog route, you need to make sure you update it regularly maybe a post every 2-3 days. An alternative to writing articles would be to create a forum, if you get traffic to your forum, people will post the information instead of you writing your own, and links will be posted here there and everywhere.

Once one of the above is created and is running well with people subscribing to the website email list, you can use these emails to send out newsletters. Newsletters are a great motivator to tip someone over the edge to buying a product through your link.

This is where most Newbie’s fail, but it is really quite simple through SEO (search engine optimization). What this is, is utilizing the keywords i mentioned earlier. The keywords are what someone puts into Google to find what they are looking for so using “Googles Keyword tool” you can find out how many searches each term gets monthly, you need to find a term that gets a decent monthly search volume and find out how much competition that term has competing for search ranking.

To increase your page rank it is good to use backlinks, this is when your website is linked from another. Using social networking sites can work to your advantage because they are free to join and have a very high “quality rating” from google, therefore any links coming from these websites will be treated as positive links.
