If your description says you have the answer to their question, well they will click your blog, you can compare this to putting a job CV in, if your CV is good you get that foot in the door because its completely up to you then as to what you do with the readers. Also make sure you include a well written about page, tell the reader what you have achieved and how you did it, this will help them get to know you and trust what you are saying.
The best advice I can give you for you topic is to make a “How to” blog, millions of people search the web each day with their sole pupose to solve a problem they have. If you can sole this problem you have succeeded in you goal of having good content. Once you have built a good start to the blog you can add google adsense which will earn you money every time someone clicks a link, this is where you need to build you traffic up. I wouldn’t advice putting adsense on straight away, build your useful content then start adding some adverts.
